Martin Attorneys at Law (EMA) was first established in 2008 by former economist and Bachelor of Laws Jose Manuel Martin Coronado and former judge and academic teaching Reinaldo Martin Figueroa, in seeking to implement a different approach law, both in the research area and in the area doctrinal and procedural administrative proceedings. EMA has several work areas, which are linked to the focus of economic-law.
Additionally, it has a strategic alliance with the Portal of Economics and Law, which is an organization devoted to legal and economic research on current issues, and complex practical problems, particularly in matters of Law and Economics.
Consequently, this firm seeks to adapt and implement the production of knowledge, either in doctrine or practical methods for planning litigation strategy, the right practical, real and tangible for the settlement of intellectual conflicts and conflicts between persons.
On December 1, 2011, Martin Attorneys at Law (EMA) changed its name to Martin Lawyers & Economists (EMA & E), in order to outsource clearly the current interdisciplinary vision of Law and Economics.
